FreshTax is one of the fastest-growing tax resolution firms in California. We help individuals and businesses resolve IRS and state tax problems through strategic representation, exceptional client service, and proven systems.

We're looking for an experienced Enrolled Agent (EA) or Tax Attorney who enjoys solving complex tax issues, advocating for clients, and making a real impact.

If you have experience negotiating with the IRS and want to join a high-performing team with consistent case flow and strong operational support, we'd love to meet you.

Compensation


$100,000 - $200,000 per year
Compensation is based on experience, production, and performance.

What You'll Do


  • Represent clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities.
  • Develop tax resolution strategies based on each client's financial situation.
  • Negotiate directly with IRS Revenue Officers and ACS representatives.
  • Prepare and submit:
    • Offer in Compromise (OIC)
    • Installment Agreements
    • Currently Not Collectible (CNC)
    • Penalty Abatement
    • Innocent Spouse Relief
  • Help stop or resolve:
    • Wage garnishments
    • Bank levies
    • Federal tax liens
  • Review case files for accuracy and compliance.
  • Work closely with Case Managers to keep cases moving efficiently.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the resolution process.

Qualifications


Required


  • Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license or licensed Tax Attorney.
  • Experience representing taxpayers before the IRS.
  • Strong knowledge of IRS collection procedures and tax resolution programs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple active cases in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred


  • Experience working in a tax resolution firm.
  • Strong client relationship and case management skills.
  • Experience handling complex IRS negotiations.
